Find Heaters For Sale
Heaters for industrial, manufacturing, construction and mining purposes are quite different than those meant for home or office use. It’s important to understand the types of heating sources available for these conditions in order to select the best one for your needs.
Most heating equipment meant for these purposes is portable. This allows them to be moved from job site to job site. Equipment for outdoor job sites will have different specifications and considerations than those meant for industrial spaces, warehouses, and workshops.
When it comes to outdoor heating needs, portable gas heaters are one common and effective option to consider. These are less expensive to operate than electric heating and are perfect for outdoor use, as they must be used in areas with ample and adequate ventilation. A simple tank-top portable heater provides flexibility in use because it attaches to a propane tank for use. A torpedo heater is larger and more powerful for heating larger outdoor areas. Portable electric heating units are also possible. A salamander heater is an example of this type. These work better for areas with partial enclosure because they don’t produce exhaust fumes or moisture.
Heaters to consider for indoor warehouse or industrial spaces are quite broad. If noise isn’t a problem, a forced-fan heater is powerful and can provide heat to larger, open indoor areas. A high voltage heater is far more powerful than most consumer-grade heaters, but they require a space that has high voltage wiring.
These are some of the more common heaters meant for on-the-job use. Equipment Trader has a wide variety of heating equipment to meet these needs. Take a look at our inventory and search by year, make, or model in your area. You’ll even find both new and used equipment, based on your budget.
