VIRNIG Equipment Information:
Virnig Manufacturing and Welding was founded in 1989 in a two-car garage outside of Pierz, Minnesota. Dean and Lois Virnig started Virnig after success with a repair business helping local farmers and construction companies in the region. Their customer service and work quality helped the company to grow quickly. After five years they moved into a larger building and expanded manufacturing. When they expanded into making skid sheer attachments and dump trailers, they changed the company name to Virnig Manufacturing, Inc.
Production facilities steadily grew over the last thirty years. Their shop and work space in Rice, Minnesota added an additional 28,000 square foot expansion in 2014. It includes an automated wash bay and power-coat pain system. The additional space allows for future development and growth in the years to come. The Virnig facilities incorporate space for engineering of new products and technology to cutting raw materials. They do all of the machining, welding, and painting in their buildings. Their mission to have high quality, durable products continues to allow the brand to grow.
Virnig uses grade 50 steel plate or better to make their attachments. This is done to make sure that they do not bend under stress of use. 1045 Cold Finished Stress Relieved round stock is used for Virnig bucket tines, hinge pins, and cylinder pins to make them stronger. Loader specific hydraulic motor configurations are also used. This enables machines to perform optimally and for longer. Virnig also take pride in using laser cutting technology on all steel parts made. This gives them a better quality and all parts produce less waste during the production process.
Attachments from Virnig include those for use in agriculture. These help to move feed, clear a pasture, plant trees, or more. The skid steer attachments have multiple uses. In addition to this, the landscaping products help with additional tasks. Virnig snow removal equipment will push, plow, sweep, and scoop snow. Pallet fork attachments by Virnig include frames that allow the user to have more visibility. This increases the safety when loading and moving heavy loads.
