    WILLMAR Equipment Information:

Willmar Equipment was not always known by that name. In the early 1990s, Steve and Robert Claussen first designed the Redball Hooded Sprayer that sprayed Roundup across farmland to encourage growth. Those sprayers hit the market in 1993 and are still one of the most well-known farming equipment in the agricultural community. There were slight issues with the original Redball Hooded Sprayer and by 2013, the brothers found a way to improve their design and have a better product. Willmar Fabrication, LLC wasn’t founded until 2005 and ironically, it focused on fabrication, welding, and painting. However, the success of the Redball and other demands for agricultural equipment drew the company to refocus their efforts into farming equipment. Their focus has been supplying high-quality sprayers, tillers, and hooded bars to the southeast. Willmar equipment is ideal for any farmer but is most helpful to cotton farmers. The company currently employs over 100 people and many of them work their way up the ladder rather than the company looking outside for professionals.

Willmar Equipment has wanted their products to always meet agricultural demand and be able to solve the real issues farmers face daily. They strive to provide reliable, cost-effective, and farmer-friendly equipment. They work hard to build relationships with the farming community so that everyone’s needs are met.

Willmar is most famous for the Redball Hooded Sprayer, but they have a wide range of fantastic equipment. The sprayers come in a wide variety of sizes, but specialty farmers may not be able to use them. Canola and watermelon are two types of food that need customized sprayers and Willmar provides that option. The Reservoir Tillage system is a blessing to any farmer who wants to get more water to the crops, improve aeration of the soil, and combat erosion. Spray monitors, pattern checks, spray tip testers, and planter banding hoods are available so that the farmer can maintain their equipment and avoid damaging their crops.
